Dear Friend,
As a woman, you have special responsibilities. Not only do you have to look after your health for your own sake, but you also have to do it for the sake of others. Namely, the people you care for and those who care about you. You may have children, family and friends who all need you to be there for them.
This is something the medical and support staff at the Harold E. and Henrietta C. Lee Breast Center at USC/Norris understand. We know that you play a very important role in the lives of others. This is one of the things that inspired us as we developed programs and personal support services to provide quality breast health care.
What can you expect from these programs and services?
- Respect for your time. Appointments, consultation, test results and evaluation are available for you. Services can be found here, in one convenient location.
- Respect for your concerns. Your questions are answered to the best of our ability and treatment information and options are explained in detail.
- Respect for your individuality. Every woman responds to her health issues in her own way. There is no template. We get to know women and their families as individuals.
Please take the time to look through our website. We have prepared the information, hoping it will be useful in your selection of a breast care facility. When you do choose one, we encourage you to participate fully in your care and feel informed and confident about the choices you make.
Sincerely, Melvin J. Silverstein, M.D., Medical Director Harold E. and Henrietta C. Lee Breast Center |
