The International Patient Care Services (IPCS) Program at USC University Hospital and USC/Norris Cancer Hospital is designed to meet the unique healthcare and cultural needs of patients who need advanced healthcare treatment options. Here, patients from around the world may benefit from a dynamic healthcare resource featuring advanced tertiary and quaternary care – provided in a responsive and compassionate patient-centered environment.
The International Patient Care Services staff – along with USC physicians, allied health professionals and support personnel – are experienced in caring for patients whose complex medical conditions or injuries require not only a multidisciplinary approach, but focus on cultural sensitivity. Visiting patients may be seen by several physicians working together to make a diagnosis and recommend a treatment plan. Patients traveling from abroad can be assisted with translation services, hotel, and travel arrangements. The USC IPCS staff pays special attention to the families’ personal, cultural and travel-related needs.
