Research is also an active and important part of the medical oncology program as our oncologists strive to bring advancements in medicine from the laboratory to the bedside. 

At USC/Norris, clinical research is ongoing and can allow the patient access to clinical trials and advanced treatment alternatives.  Patients are often encouraged to participate in these projects.
